That early response shaped the game directly. It became a collaboration between players, hobbyists, and developers from day one.

After the unexpected success of its debut title Medieval Legacy, Ninetoplay is proving that its first hit was only the beginning. What started as a one-woman project, self-funding, designing, and bringing an ambitious simulation game to life, has grown into a female-led business creating deep, system-driven worlds. Now, with support from the state of Baden-Württemberg, the studio is preparing its second release: another deceptively cozy experience hiding a complex economy simulation beneath the surface. From medieval kingdoms to living aquariums, Ninetoplay is building its identity around games that reward multiple playstyles and keep players interested for a long time.
